Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job description: Americable is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The position is hybrid 8am-5pm with trips into the Miami office a few times per week. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the invoicing and collection process, ensuring timely payments from clients, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Monitor accounts to identify outstanding invoices and follow up with customers for timely payments. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly recorded. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to resolve account-related issues. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis for management review.

The ideal candidate will:

Be focus and be self sufficient in a work from home environment Have 2-3 years of prior financial experience preferably in accounts receivable Be experienced in using QuickBooks, Ms excel, outlook, teams, and other Microsoft products.
