Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support finance operations for a long-term contract opportunity based in Morristown, New Jersey. This role combines receivables management, cash activity support, and financial analysis while working in a hybrid schedule of two days onsite and three days remote. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound Excel skills, and the ability to help maintain accurate reporting across day-to-day accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring invoices, payments, and account balances are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain clean and current receivables records.
- Apply cash receipts and monitor daily cash activity to support accurate financial tracking.
- Contribute to cash forecasting efforts by compiling data and helping project expected inflows and spending patterns.
- Review actual financial activity against projections and highlight notable variances for the accounting team.
- Support the preparation and validation of reporting details used in ongoing financial reviews.
- Partner with treasury and accounting colleagues on ad hoc assignments and priority projects as business needs evolve.
