Job Description
About Citywide Citywide Elevator Consulting is a leading elevator consulting firm providing inspection, compliance, modernization, maintenance consulting, and project management services to commercial property owners, healthcare facilities, hotels, universities, and real estate portfolios nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable process while helping improve collections, customer account accuracy, and cash flow. Responsibilities Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances. Contact customers regarding past-due invoices via email and phone. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts. Maintain accurate customer records in QuickBooks. Work closely with the Director of Finance and Project Managers to resolve invoicing questions. Assist with month-end accounts receivable reporting and reconciliations. Track collection efforts and provide regular aging reports to management. Support initiatives to improve billing processes and collections. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience. Experience with QuickBooks required. Strong Microsoft office skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of collections best practices. Experience managing high-volume customer accounts.
