AP/AR & HR
Coordinator supports the organization's financial operations through accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while also assisting with payroll, employee records, benefits administration, and other HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment. Generate customer invoices and monitor incoming payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts. Prepare checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting. Respond to vendor and customer billing inquiries. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures. Additional duties as needed. Human Resources Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related documentation. Administer employee timekeeping and maintain time clock records. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding paperwork. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general benefits questions. Support compliance with employment policies and required reporting. Coordinate employee communications related to HR programs. Additional duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field required. 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, HR administration, or a combination of these areas. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and standard accounting practices. Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Hybrid position based in Henderson, NC. Standard business hours with occasional overtime during month-end close, payroll processing, audits, or benefit enrollment periods. Primarily office-based with extended periods of computer work.
