In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will be essential in ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and delivering precise financial reports. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare and process journal entries, including debits & credits, to maintain the integrity of financial records Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment scheduling Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management review Conduct account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to verify account accuracy and completeness Requirements Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger accounting practices Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting is a plus Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation efficiently Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills including 10 key typing proficiency Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members Join us if you're passionate about precision in finance!
