Job Description
Trustee Services Group LLC is looking for a well-respected experienced professional to serve as Finance Assistant to collaboratively work with our existing team to onboard clients as well as assist our finance team. About Trustee Services Group Established in 2012, with the home office in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Trustee Services Group LLC (TSG) is a boutique professional services firm specializing in estate fiduciary and trustee services. At TSG, we operate by a core set of values: Excellence, Collaboration, Integrity, Service, Kindness, and Stewardship, which guide everything we do, from our internal culture to our client relationships. TSG has two lines of business: 1) Estate Fiduciary Service - Under our DBA Estate Services Group, we serve as Executor / Personal Representative (Will), Successor Trustee (Revocable Living Trust) and Financial Agent (Durable Power of Attorney) in serving families during times of incapacity and upon the passing of a loved one. TSG has hundreds of "deferred clients" (families that have named TSG within their estate plan to serve as set forth above). 2) Trustee Services - TSG also serves as Trustee on all types of irrevocable trusts, including but not limited to Family Legacy Trusts, SLATs, Supplemental Needs Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Charitable Foundations and Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts. Intentionally Different | Focus & Approach Although similar to a Trust Company, TSG is intentionally different in our focus and approach in delivering estate fiduciary and trustee services. We understand that wealth in family is complex. Our desire to collaboratively serve families in the context of this unique complexity is what fuels us daily. In what we call our Open Architecture℠ approach, TSG works collaboratively with the professional advisory community, in particular, with financial advisors and estate attorneys. Trustee Services Group does not manage wealth. We never have and never will. Instead, Trustee Services Group oversees the wealth management process and firmly believes that families benefit from the continued involvement of the family's chosen wealth advisory team. Thus, we always work in collaboration with the client's chosen wealth advisor. For our wealth advisory relationships, we strive to equip them to become generational with their client relationships. Even though Trustee Services Group is attorney owned and operated, TSG does not practice law and instead we always work collaboratively with the legal team of our client's choosing. The client success we strive for at Trustee Services Group is: 1) That the generational wealth does not adversely affect a family's ability to do life together; and 2) That the inherited wealth is stewarded to live a life of meaning and purpose. For our beneficial clients, we strive to regularly educate and invite their active involvement in the Trust and Estate decision making. Because we don't manage wealth and don't practice law, we are not distracted daily by the complexities of those practices. Instead, we are able to focus daily upon our core competency, which is to collaboratively help families navigate through the unique complexities of generational wealth. As a result, Trustee Services Group has become an experienced thought leader in the context of successful wealth transfer. Trustee Services Group has clients and relationships throughout the United States. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. They are a proactive problem-solver who can identify and address issues early, handle sensitive financial and client information with discretion, and adapt to evolving processes in a growing environment.
