Our work helps create safe, comfortable homes while reducing landfill waste and supporting community reuse. Role Description The Part-time Bookkeeper (approximately 10-20 hours/month) will help HomeAhead maintain accurate financial records and establish effective bookkeeping systems as we transition to QuickBooks Online. We are open to either an experienced volunteer or a paid bookkeeper willing to work at a nonprofit-friendly rate. We are looking for someone who can collaborate with and guide staff as we learn QBO and refine our processes. Some bookkeeping functions may be handled in-house, and we need help determining what staff can appropriately manage, how those processes should be set up, and where ongoing bookkeeping support is most useful. We prefer someone local who is available for occasional on-site support, although much of the work can be done remotely.
