This is an on-site role that may require travel between client locations within the Providence area. We partner with small to mid-sized organizations, nonprofits, and businesses to provide flexible, tailored accounting support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Filling temporary or ongoing accounting roles as needed for client organizations Managing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations Providing general office and administrative support Conducting data entry and maintaining accurate records Assisting with grant budgeting, reporting, and invoicing Supporting payroll and expense tracking Preparing financial reports and documentation for clients Collaborating directly with clients to address unique bookkeeping or accounting requirements Qualifications Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office support roles Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, or similar tools) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and travel between client sites Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Prior experience with nonprofit accounting or grant funding is a plus What We Offer Variety of client assignments with hands-on experience Exposure to diverse industries and organizations Opportunity to grow within a CPA-led consulting environment Supportive team with a focus on client success
