Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Columbia, SC area. This onsite role is a great fit for someone with hands-on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general accounting, and QuickBooks experience who is looking to build long-term stability in a professional accounting environment. The Accounting Clerk will support daily financial operations by processing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and accounting records with accuracy and efficiency. This opportunity offers a supportive team environment, steady workflow, and the chance to continue growing your accounting skills with guidance from experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Enter invoices, payments, and financial data into accounting systems, including QuickBooks.
- Assist with account reconciliations, record maintenance, and financial documentation.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support payment follow-up activities.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accounting reports, files, and supporting documents.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the accounting team. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience.- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
