In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support the organization's financial health and provide essential data for decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills within a collaborative environment dedicated to growth and excellence. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and ledger maintenance using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar systems Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain general ledger accounting records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget analyses for internal review Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Support governmental or non-profit accounting requirements by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards Assist in tax preparation activities by organizing financial documents and supporting documentation as needed Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or comparable systems Experience with corporate accounting practices, non-profit accounting, or governmental accounting is highly desirable Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis Strong knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for financial report writing and data analysis Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately Excellent attention to detail along with strong organizational skills; experience with 10-key typing is a plus Knowledge of payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting processes is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, transparency, and continuous improvement.
