Full-Time A well-established construction company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant to join their team. Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day financial operations and general administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Construction industry experience is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices, match POs, and verify job cost coding Maintain AP records and ensure timely entry into accounting software Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare weekly check runs and assist with payment scheduling Communicate with vendors regarding billing or payment status Administrative Support Answer and direct incoming calls and greet visitors Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and document organization Assist with maintaining project files and job documentation Support the management team with administrative tasks as needed Order office supplies and help maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience (construction AP experience a plus) Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with construction accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint) is a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
