This full-time position will primarily assist with accounts payable, transaction entry, reconciliations, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, dependable, comfortable working independently, and understands the importance of confidentiality when working with financial information.

Brokerage Accounting Support Enter and code vendor invoices in QuickBooks and prepare accounts payable for payment. Enter and code company credit card transactions and receipts. Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations. Enter AP and payroll journal entries, general ledger corrections, and related accounting entries. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation. Property Management Accounting Support Assist the Property Management team with accounts payable for multiple properties and clients in AppFolio. Code and Processes daily vendor and drop-ship invoices, including digital uploads and electronic/EDI invoicing. Monitor the AP inbox and process invoices in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements and research payment discrepancies. Assist with month-end reconciliations and other accounting support as needed. General Accounting & Administrative Support Prioritize recurring accounting tasks and deadlines. Research discrepancies and work with team members to resolve issues. Provide additional accounting support to either team during high-volume periods. Proactively ask questions when information is incomplete or something doesn't look right. Assist with bookkeeping, accounting, and general administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, stays organized, and takes ownership of recurring accounting tasks. This person should be dependable, willing to ask questions, and able to work well with multiple members of our team. Previous bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounting experience preferred. QuickBooks and/or AppFolio experience preferred. Commercial real estate or property management accounting experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage recurring deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and learn new systems and processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay:
Starting at $20.00/hour, depending on experience. Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
