JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an entry-level Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general data entry, updating vehicle maintenance records, issuing purchase orders to field personnel, interacting with vendors, uploading vendor invoices for payment, and working closely with our Accounts Payable and Accounting Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform general data entry tasks
  • Update and maintain vehicle maintenance records
  • Issue purchase orders to field personnel
  • Interact with vendors to coordinate services and orders
  • Upload vendor invoices for payment processing
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable and Accounting Department
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision once trained
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience in fleet maintenance and/or trucking
  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with general accounting procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's license.
  • Successful work history in handling confidential personal data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work alone and with a team.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, general knowledge of mobile device use and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
