Job Description
A small to mid-size construction company is looking to fill the position of Accounts Payable Specialist. You'll handle vendor invoices, payments, and cost allocations while ensuring accuracy and compliance in A/P matters.
Responsibilities:
Enter vendor invoices into accounting system with proper job/cost code allocations. Manage vendor payments, ACH, and check runs. Match POs, receipts, packing slips, and invoices, resolving discrepancies promptly. Track subcontractor compliance (W-9s, insurance, lien waivers). Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Process employee expense reports in line with policy. Answering phone during business hours.Requirements:
2+ years AP experience (construction/millwright preferred). Familiar with job costing and industry accounting software (Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation). Strong attention to detail and Excel skills.Benefits:
