AP/AR and Order Processing Specialist Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP/AR and Order Processing Specialist to join our logistics team. This role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, processing customer orders, and ensuring accurate data entry and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks, Inventory Management Software, Microsoft Office, and handling confidential information. They will play a vital role in maintaining smooth financial operations and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and tracking payments using multiple software systems. Handle accounts payable tasks such as processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining records in spreadsheets and financial systems. Perform data entry related to financial transactions, order processing, and account updates with high accuracy. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards. Utilize spreadsheets and Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and support bookkeeping activities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing, payments, and order status. Assist in month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation. Collaborate with team members to improve processes related to accounts receivable/payable and order management. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, specifically with accounts receivable and payable functions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis. Experience with financial or accounting software is essential. Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information professionally and securely. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. Knowledge of bookkeeping principles is preferred.
