This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounts payable, payroll processing, and general office administration while supporting a growing operation. Key Responsibilities – AP & Payroll Specialist Process accounts payable invoices per day using QuickBooks Pro. Accurately code and allocate costs to appropriate jobs and divisions. Manage AP activities across three business divisions. Process weekly payroll for employees, including one Canadian employee. Generate and maintain payroll records and reports. Handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and payment bond documentation. Coordinate office supply ordering and inventory management. Cover the main phone lines, direct calls, and assist with day-to-day office communication needs. Provide general office and administrative support as needed. Qualifications – AP & Payroll Specialist Accounts payable experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Proficiency with QuickBooks Pro preferred. Experience with job costing and cost allocation preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong note-taking Excellent communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting or business coursework preferred. #
