Description The Accounts Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of the company. This position manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking transactions, financial reporting, and tax-related filings. Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate Accounts Payable records.
Prepare and process vendor payments via checks and ACH.
Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments for Accounts Receivable.
Reconcile company bank accounts and maintain the petty cash account.
Process payroll and administer payroll deductions, including 401(k) withholdings.
Prepare and submit sales tax reports and corporation income tax deposits.
Prepare weekly reports on accounts payable, purchase orders, cash position, accounts receivable, and inventory.
Maintain organized accounting records, financial documentation, and filing systems.
Process utility bills and maintain supporting documentation.
Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities by providing required financial records.
Maintain confidentiality of financial, payroll, employee, and company information.
Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting procedures.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance administration experience preferred.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger support.
Superior attention to detail required.
Superior writing, listening, and verbal communication skills.
Superior analytical and mathematical skills.
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Proficient with accounting/ERP software. Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Innovative, motivated individual with high standards and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proven organizational skills with mindfulness, and the ability to self-check, self-manage, prioritize initiatives, and work well in a team environment.
