Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary Manage the scheduling and operations of the O'Donnell Performing Arts Center (PAC) for College, community, and other events. Principal Accountabilities 1. Manage the scheduling and operations of the O'Donnell Performing Arts Center (PAC) for the College, community, and other events. This includes utilization of internal scheduling software Ad Astra and compilation of building calendar. 2. Manage Box Office activities for above listed events with duties including, but not limited to event entry, ticket sales, communication with patrons, and sales reconciliation. 3. Assist with the marketing and promotion for all O'Donnell PAC events, including social media presence. 4. Coordinate recruitment and communications with prospective Blinn College students wishing to study and/or participate in Theatre Arts Programs. 5. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications 1. Associate of Arts Degree OR significant work experience in either Theatre Arts or Business 2. Basic knowledge to fulfill requirements of contracts, budgets, and accounting Minimum Competencies 1. Working knowledge of Performing Arts facility management 2. Excellent customer service, telephone and personal skills 3. Ability to troubleshoot issues which are relative to the execution of events and performances 4. Knowledge of basic word processing and data entry software programs such as Microsoft Office and Ad Astra Preferred Qualifications BA, BS or BFA with a concentration in arts management or other closely related area. Preferred Competencies 1. Experience working with students who range from minimally to moderately familiar with technical theatre functions 2. Experience in theatre management, technical operations and scheduling programs and events with a campus or performing arts facility. Special Notes To Applicants Maximum of 19 hours per week
