Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Jose T Canales Enterprises LLC Brownsville, TX Job Details Full-time From $10 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Accounts receivable management Financial records management Attention to detail QuickBooks Organizational skills Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking property-related income and expenses, organizing financial documentation, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that expenses are properly recorded and allocated to the appropriate property.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple properties. Track and categorize property-related expenses, including repairs, maintenance, utilities, insurance, taxes, and other operating costs. Record and track rental income and other property-related revenue. Assign expenses and income to the appropriate property for accurate financial reporting. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and identify discrepancies. Review invoices, receipts, bills, and other financial documents for accuracy. Maintain organized records of property expenses and supporting documentation. Monitor recurring expenses and payments associated with each property. Assist with monthly financial reports for individual properties. Track accounts payable and accounts receivable related to properties. Communicate with vendors, contractors, and property managers regarding invoices and payments when necessary. Assist with preparing financial information for tax preparation and year-end reporting. Maintain confidentiality of financial and property information. Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred. Experience with real estate or property-related bookkeeping is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage financial records for multiple properties simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or accounting software. Ability to properly categorize and track expenses. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with QuickBooks, property management software, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and real estate/property expenses is preferred.

From $10.00 per hour
