In this vital role, you will manage the day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our organization's financial health, streamline bookkeeping processes, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence and growth. Responsibilities Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of the general ledger through detailed account analysis and reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable Prepare journal entries, including debits & credits, to accurately reflect financial activities in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections Conduct balance sheet reconciliation regularly to verify account balances align with supporting documentation Generate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, to support management decision-making and compliance requirements Complete appropriate tax forms annually Manage medical inventory cycle for ordering, stocking and reconciling invoices Develop and implement organized filing systems
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with familiarity in bookkeeping practices and accounting systems such as QuickBooks Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP), double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis, budgeting, and report writing Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently using bank statements and ledger data Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts simultaneously Basic typing skills (10 key typing) for data entry accuracy and speed Independent worker who takes initiative, works well with others when needed Join us as a Bookkeeper to play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's financial integrity. Pay:
