Duties Record and reconcile all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, and other financial systems Prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data Process payroll and handle related payroll reporting tasks with precision Assist in budgeting activities and prepare financial reports for management review Maintain detailed records of all bookkeeping activities, including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within corporate or non-profit organizations Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), other financial software tools Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), financial concepts, and general ledger accounting practices Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and journal entries Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and report writing Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately at a high speed for data entry tasks Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your skills will directly impact our organization's success!
