Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist

About Us ASAP Glass & Door is a growing commercial glass and door service company focused on delivering high-quality work with responsiveness and reliability. We support a wide range of clients and projects, and our accounting team plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable AP/AR Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. This role is critical to maintaining strong cash flow, accurate records, and positive relationships with both customers and vendors. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices accurately and timely Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status Apply payments and reconcile discrepancies Accounts Payable (AP): Review, code, and enter vendor invoices Ensure proper approvals and documentation are in place Process payments (checks, ACH, credit card) Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries

General Accounting Duties:

Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close Maintain organized and accurate financial records Support job costing and project tracking as needed Coordinate with operations team on billing and vendor issues Qualifications 2+ years of AP/AR or general accounting experience Experience in construction, service, or trade industry preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) What We're Looking For Self-starter who takes ownership of their work Someone comfortable following up on payments and maintaining accountability Team player who can work closely with both office staff and field operations High level of integrity and professionalism Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health benefits, Paid Vacation, 401(k) Stable, growing company with long-term opportunity How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction outlining your experience with AP/AR and accounting systems.
