Position Summary Sam Pack Five Star Ford Carrollton is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with accounts payable and receivable functions. Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required. Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation. Verify invoices for proper approvals, coding, and accuracy. Prepare accounts payable checks and electronic payments. Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies. Post customer payments and receipts to accounts receivable. Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances. Assist with daily cash receipts and deposits. Reconcile bank and other accounting records as assigned. Maintain organized accounting files and documentation. Assist with month-end closing and accounting reports. Communicate with vendors, customers, and dealership personnel regarding account questions. Assist the Controller and accounting team with other duties as needed.Requirements:
Previous accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting experience. Automotive dealership accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally. Valid Driver's License and Insurable. Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
