Bookkeeper/Accounting Administration Mako Plastics USA Garland, TX Job Details Full-time From $21 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Customer communication Administrative experience Bachelor's degree Attention to detail QuickBooks Time management Office experience Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Accounting Administrator to join our growing team at our plastic injection molding manufacturing facility in Garland, Texas. This is an important in-house position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, maintaining accurate financial records, communicating with customers and vendors, and helping ensure the accounting administration side of the business operates efficiently. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and is interested in growing with the company. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience strongly preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero strongly preferred. Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliation (Texas based experience) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer applications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information professionally. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Comfortable working independently with limited supervision. Professional, dependable, and proactive approach to work. Key Responsibilities (General Overview, but are not limited to): Bookkeeping & Accounting Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online/Xero. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and issue customer invoices. Enter and organize vendor bills and expenses. Record and categorize financial transactions. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Monitor outstanding customer balances and assist with collections. Maintain vendor and customer account records. Process and maintain purchase orders and related documentation. Assist with cash receipts and payment application. Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records. Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial information. Coordinate with the company's external accountant/CPA as necessary. Assist with payroll administration and employee documentation as needed. Assist management with basic financial reports, account analysis, and other bookkeeping-related requests. Help maintain accurate records relating to inventory purchases, raw materials, freight, manufacturing expenses, and other operating costs.

From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
