Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the company's financial records, ensure accurate account reconciliation, and support our accounting systems. Your expertise will help maintain financial integrity and streamline our bookkeeping processes, contributing to our ongoing growth and success. Duties Record and process journal entries, including debits and credits, using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or other financial systems Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to facilitate timely payments and collections Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations Generate financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budgets for management review Maintain detailed records of all transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with familiarity in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage or comparable software Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and report writing Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately for data entry tasks Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping Knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and budgeting processes Join us to be part of a dynamic team that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.
