Accounting Specialist Just Rentals, LLC Killeen, TX Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $55,000 a year 19 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Paid sick time Qualifications Customer communication Attention to detail Organizational skills Accounting and finance experience Property management Time management Full Job Description Accounting Specialist Just Rentals is seeking an experienced, dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of our family-owned property management company. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, organization and the ability to communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors and team members. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with billing and payroll, monitoring company expenses and supporting the overall accounting needs of the business. Because this position works closely with financial information, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, understands basic accounting principles and takes pride in accuracy. Key Responsibilities Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants and vendors regarding statements, invoices, payments and account questions. Process and enter vendor invoices into AppFolio, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation and correct expense allocation. Manage accounts payable and receivable, billing, vendor payments and financial records. Assist with tracking company expenses and with budgeting and expense management. Assist with payroll processing, recordkeeping and related reporting. Review account activity and resolve outstanding balances, discrepancies and missing documentation. Assist with owner statements, property-level financial reporting and month-end accounting. Maintain accurate and confidential financial records for the company, owners, tenants and vendors. Coordinate with management on budgets, expenses and other financial matters. Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, numbers-oriented and exceptionally detail-oriented . This person must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy in a very fast-paced environment.
Candidates should have:
Previous accounting, bookkeeping or similar financial experience. Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, payroll and basic accounting principles. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with owners, tenants, vendors and coworkers. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a close-knit team. Experience with AppFolio or property management accounting software is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard office software. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
