The employee will have the responsibility of: Performing routine clerical and administrative work, as well as answering the telephone and responding to citizen inquiries Verifying daily receipts Preparing daily deposit and submits daily monies to Finance Maintaining an accurate accounting system for division budgets Maintaining returned check files Preparing journal entries and budget transfers Collecting vendor contract payments, all aspects of accounts payable, procurement card payments, maintaining vendor files, quotes, and division's requisitions Assisting in preparing and administering grant and bond fund programs As an employee with the city of Killeen some benefits are: Health insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX Dental and Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement through TMRS (Optional 4579(b) Accounts) Paid Vacation and Sick Leave 13 paid holidaysWellness Events & Free Gym Membership Required Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
