Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. Duties Process and verify all incoming invoices using various accounting systems such as NetSuite & Ramp, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls. Perform account reconciliation for accounts payable and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage vendor relationships by resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to payment inquiries promptly. Prepare and review journal entries related to accounts payable activities, including accruals and month-end closing procedures. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails for internal and external audits. Assist with year-end closing processes, including 1099 processing. Experience Proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, or related finance roles within a corporate or governmental setting. Strong familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel data analysis, account analysis, and data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing skills preferred). Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping. Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while maintaining a keen eye for detail; numeracy skills are essential.
