This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing day-to-day accounting transactions, and assisting with the financial organization of multiple business operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with deadlines, and experienced with QuickBooks Online . Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records Enter and categorize expenses, bills, deposits, and other transactions Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Process vendor bills and customer invoices Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Review transactions for proper account and job/project coding Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related records Maintain vendor and employee documentation Track payments, outstanding balances, and expenses Assist with preparation of financial reports Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records Communicate with vendors, employees, and management regarding accounting matters Research and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures Coordinate with management, accountants, and CPAs as needed Perform additional bookkeeping and administrative accounting duties as assigned Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Experience with QuickBooks Online strongly preferred Understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with bank reconciliations, A/P, and A/R Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and employee information Comfortable working with multiple companies, accounts, and projects Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office software Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with management and other team members Preferred Experience Experience in construction, oilfield services, property management, or companies that use job/project costing is a plus. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, stays organized, catches discrepancies, and helps ensure our accounting records remain accurate and current.
