Job duties include:
Will be responsible for all accounts payables and receivables activities Will process vendor invoices, verify invoices, purchase orders and payment requests Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies Maintain organized AP files and records Will prepare and issue customer invoices, process customer payments and apply payments to accounts Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past due accounts Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Assist with monthly AR reporting and collections Assist with monthly bank and account reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Generate financial reports as requested Answer vendor and customer inquiries, assist with audits and other accounting projects
Requirements:
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles Experience with payroll processing is a plus Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems Strong math skills, organization and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently Applicants will be background and drug screened for this position For more information regarding this position, email resumes to Mayra Rodriguez at mayra@snellingodessa.com.
