Job Description

Ponder Company is a family-owned athletic flooring and equipment contractor with 50 years of experience building gymnasiums, courts, and athletic facilities across Texas, Colorado, and beyond. We're looking for a detail-oriented, entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on a part-time basis — no prior accounts payable experience required, just a willingness to learn and a strong eye for detail. What You'll Do Enter vendor and subcontractor invoices into our accounting system under the direction of the Accounts Payable Coordinator. Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips as directed. Sort, date-stamp, and organize incoming invoices and mail. Maintain organized vendor and invoice files, both physical and digital. Assist with general accounting support tasks as assigned. What We're Looking For 1-year prior accounts payable experience required; some office, clerical, or customer service experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures precisely. Good organizational skills and reliability. Ability to work independently within a part-time schedule under general direction. Construction background. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
