Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role requires a proactive professional with at least one year of bookkeeping experience managing diverse portfolios. The ideal candidate will excel in handling comprehensive accounting responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar systems Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Process payroll and handle related tasks with precision, ensuring timely payments and accurate tax filings Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and maintain clean financial records Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses for management review Maintain thorough documentation of all transactions, including debits & credits, account reconciliations, and journal entries Utilize spreadsheets extensively for data analysis, reporting, and supporting audit processes Qualifications Minimum of one year of bookkeeping experience managing diverse portfolios with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger reconciliation Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is a plus Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously Knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting purposes Join us as a Full Charge Bookkeeper to bring your expertise to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in financial management.
