The A/R Specialist will be responsible for managing insurance collections, interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), processing appeals and reconsiderations, and verifying patient balances for accuracy. This role also includes handling incoming calls from insurance companies. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the revenue cycle. About thePractice:

Heaton Eye offers a wide range of premium lenses including Symfony Extended Depth of Focus lenses, PanOptix® lenses, and Vivity® lenses to offer freedom from glasses and contacts after cataract surgery. Our surgeons were the first in East Texas to offer the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens, the only lens implant that allows patients to preview and adjust their vision after cataract surgery. We are the first and only practice in the area offering EVO ICL, another exciting option offering patients freedom from contacts and glasses. insurance claims over 14 daysEXCLUDING
Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Appeals, reconsiderations, and insurance overpayment. Compensation. Work all denied claims and any appeals. Check Status of Claims. Use all measures available to check status of claims. Form Completion. Complete and process any paperwork.Follow-up:
Checking status of non-payment claims over 30 days old. Correcting errors and re-billing claims, as needed. Be available for additional questions and queries from other TEAM members.Qualifications:
