Join our team as an Accounting Clerk to perform various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting system, processing payments and/or assisting in preparation of billings and other financial reports. Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Respond to inquiries and contact other departments and/or vendors to resolve a variety of problems. Assist in performance of various clerical duties. Compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records accurate. Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data. Compile spreadsheets to assist with accounting reports. Make bank deposits and perform banking duties for patients on a daily basis and maintain and reconcile bank accounts if needed. Assist in maintaining files, generate and send bills.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous office, accounting or healthcare accounting experience preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
