PURPOSE STATEMENT

Join our team as an Accounting Clerk ​ to perform various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of the accounting department . ​
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
​ Responsible for posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting system, processing payments and/or assisting in preparation of billings and other financial reports. ​ Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting re cords. ​ Respond to inquiries and contact other departments and/or vendors to resolve a variety of problems. ​ Assist in performance of various clerical duties. ​ Compute, classif y and record numerical data to keep financial records accurate . ​ P erform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data. ​ Compile spreadsheet s t o assist wi t h accounting reports . ​ Make bank deposit s and perform banking duties for patients on a daily basis and maintain and reconcile bank accounts if needed. ​ A ssist in maintaining files, generate and send bills. ​
OTHER FUNCTIONS
​ Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. ​
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
​ High school diploma or equivalent required. ​ P revious office, accounting or healthcare accounting experience preferred . ​
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
