Experienced Hotel Industry Bookkeeper (Multi-Company Accounting) in the Salt Lake City area We are seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper, preferably with a background in the hotel and hospitality industry, to manage the daily accounting for multiple hotel management and ownership entities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling multiple sets of books while meeting strict reporting deadlines. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow their career and take on more responsibility as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple hotel companies Record, reconcile, and review bank, credit card, and cash transactions Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and OTA reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Manage payroll processing and related filings Reconcile general ledger accounts Track revenue, occupancy-related reporting, and operating expenses Assist with budgets, cash flow analysis, audits, and year-end close Ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards and internal controls

Qualifications:

Proven bookkeeping experience managing multiple entities, preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry Strong understanding of GAAP and hospitality accounting practices Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, innFlow) and hotel systems (PMS experience a plus) Exceptional organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
