Depending on experience and qualifications About the Position We are looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Construction Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position combines accounts payable data entry, front-office responsibilities, customer and vendor communication, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and computers, and able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Previous accounting or QuickBooks experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Enter and maintain accounts payable information in QuickBooks Enter invoices and other accounts payable information accurately and in a timely manner Assist with maintaining accurate vendor and account records Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Greet visitors and serve as the front-office coordinator, directing visitors and managing access to the office Receive and distribute deliveries and other correspondence Maintain organized files, records, and paperwork Assist with scheduling, data entry, and other administrative tasks Communicate with vendors and team members regarding invoices and account information as needed Provide general administrative and office support to management and other team members Assist the Controller with administrative tasks related to accounts payable as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Preferred Previous experience with QuickBooks Familiarity with basic accounting or bookkeeping practices Experience with accounts payable or office administration Previous experience in the construction industry or a construction office is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with computers and learning new software Spanish language skills are a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn.
