Job Description

Accounting/Bookkeeper Clerk (Entry Level)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper Clerk. The Bookkeeper Clerk will assist in managing the company's finances. This is an on-site position, and confidentiality in handling financial data is critical.
Shift:
M-F, 5-6
hours a day. Hours are flexible and can be discussed
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in reconciling the company's financial records to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Post financial transactions to various accounts. Help maintain accurate balance sheets by assisting in reconciling fixed assets and current portions of long-term debt. Record daily financial transactions and ensure their accuracy. Verify balances in the company's books with vendor and customer statements. Assist with reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts. Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Assist in financial activities as requested by management. Support management with compliance needs, issues, and concerns. Learn and adapt to using accounting software and other standard business software. Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all company financial and operational information.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of accounting principles (prior coursework in accounting is a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook), with some familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and as part of a team. Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
INDSU Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
