Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records using QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. This role offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and able to work independently. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online. Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and send customer invoices. Process vendor bills and payments. Track expenses and categorize transactions. Reconcile accounts monthly. Assist with payroll processing (if applicable). Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documentation. Work with the company's CPA/accountant during tax preparation and year-end reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. Preferred Skills QuickBooks Online Certification is a plus. Experience with payroll systems. Knowledge of sales tax reporting. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
