Description:
AmeriStaff, Inc., is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their campaign team. This position plays an important role in processing pledges, payments, designations, receipts, and acknowledgements while providing administrative support to the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience with accounts receivable or bookkeeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Benefits of the

Monday-Thursday, between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Responsibilities of the
Accounts Receivable Specialist:
Process accounts receivable transactions in the database. Process pledges, payments, designations, receipts, and acknowledgements. Prepare and deposit cash and checks at the local bank. Assist with campaign processing activities related to specific United Way Worldwide accounts. Update and prepare spreadsheets and reports for the President/CEO. Prepare documents for mail merge. Assist with mass mailings, photocopying, electronic filing, supply monitoring, and general administrative assignments. Assist with campaign event preparation and execution as needed. Maintain donor confidentiality and protect donor confidence. Assist with the donor recognition process to ensure all donors are properly recognized in a timely manner. Provide general support to organizational staff. Perform other duties as assigned. This job description is not intended to encompass all aspects of the position. Qualifications of the
Accounts Receivable Specialist:
AAS or BA in Business preferred; or Three or more years of administrative, secretarial, bookkeeping, or related experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong proofreading skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethical standards. Positive "Can Do" attitude and ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and agency partners. Productivity-driven and able to manage multiple assignments. Familiarity with general office equipment. Valid driver's license and use of an insured vehicle required. Candidates must be proficient in: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Mail Merge, Microsoft Teams Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience Data standards experience Zoom and similar virtual communication platforms experience The following skills testing is required: Accounts Receivable Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint #
