Job Description
Accounting Clerk Join Our Hotel Team! We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our hotel team. The Accounting Clerk will support the hotel's daily accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate, organized, and completed in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records Enter invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions accurately Reconcile daily hotel revenue and verify supporting documentation Assist with daily income audit and financial reporting Prepare and organize deposits and other banking-related documentation Review credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records and filing systems Assist with month-end closing procedures Communicate with department managers and vendors regarding accounting questions Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Hotel or hospitality accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with numbers and financial information Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while also being a team player Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism What We Offer Competitive pay Employee hotel discounts A professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for growth and development The opportunity to be part of a team committed to providing an outstanding guest experience If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy working with numbers, we would love to hear from you.
