Description:
The Accounting Services Specialist provides designated payroll and accounting support to First Choice Home Health under a shared agreement as well as supports Sunnyside Communities .

This is a
FULL-TIME
position working 32 hours per week, You'll have the opportunity to work across several areas of accounting and financial operations, including: Payroll
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and help ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time. Accounts Payable
  • Process invoices, prepare payments, and work with vendors. Accounts Receivable
  • Record payments, monitor outstanding balances, and assist with reconciliations. Healthcare Billing
  • Support billing for our Outpatient Therapy services, including claims, payments, denials, and follow-up. Accounting Support
  • Assist with reconciliations, accounting entries, month-end activities, reporting, and maintaining audit-ready records. Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with Human Resources, therapy operations, accounting, and other leaders to solve problems and keep things running smoothly.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Comfortable learning accounting, payroll, billing, and electronic health record systems An Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred. Healthcare or therapy billing experience is also a plus!
