Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fiscal Support Specialist I to support billing, accounts receivable, collections, and reimbursement functions. This position is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing payments, preparing claims and assisting with client account management. The ideal candidate has strong administrative, customer service, and data entry skills with experience in billing or accounting-related functions. Key Responsibilities Maintain client financial records and accounts receivable information. Prepare and process billing documentation, insurance information, and reimbursement claims. Submit public and private insurance claims, including Medicaid and commercial insurance claims. Post payments, adjustments, and third-party reimbursements into the accounting system. Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations. Reconcile accounts and assist with collections on outstanding balances. Prepare reports, maintain files, and perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy. Respond to inquiries from clients and staff regarding account information and payment status. Provide general administrative support and perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, clerical support, accounting, bookkeeping, billing, collections, or related financial operations preferred Strong data entry and computer skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
