Overview The Company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience in the U.S., proficiency in standard accounting software (such as QuickBooks), and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin Chinese. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks independently, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the broader operational team.
Major Job Responsibilities Daily Accounting Operations:
Perform daily accounting entries, adjustments, and account reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Review and process daily business expenses, manage AP/AR, and ensure invoices are paid and recorded accurately.
Collections & Billing:
Follow up on outstanding customer balances, perform routine collection activities to ensure timely payments, and investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
Record Keeping:
Organize, maintain, and properly file accounting records, invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare necessary accounting data to assist with month-end financial reports and other departments as requested.
Tax & Compliance Support:
Assist with tax filings, tax payments, and other statutory tax-related matters.
Administrative Support:
Assist with employee attendance records, basic HR-related administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 ~ 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in the United States.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
Core Competencies:
Solid understanding of general ledger entries, bookkeeping, AP, AR, account reconciliation, and standard financial statements.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and a high sense of responsibility. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
