Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. You will keep our financial engine running smoothly by ensuring suppliers are paid on time, managing vendor bills, and ensuring our cash flow is accurately recorded.

Duties:

Daily Income Tracking :

Match daily invoices from our carpet cleaning technicians against incoming credit card, cash, and check payments.

Accounts Payable :

Manage invoices from chemical suppliers, equipment repair shops, and fuel card companies.

Bank Reconciliation :

Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly to ensure every job is accounted for.

Financial Reporting :

Provide weekly cash flow updates and monthly Profit & Loss statements.

Tax and Compliance :

Assist with sales tax filings, payroll taxes, and year-end audit preparation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of double entry bookkeeping experience, ideally in a residential or commercial service industry
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
