Make a difference by doing important work with a successful, international not-for-profit organization. Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours. Description of duties The Accounts Payable Coordinator handles the financial processing of payment transactions including general ledger coding and reconciling of invoices and payments. The Accounts Payable Coordinator assigns payments to the proper cost centers and projects and works with vendors to resolve any discrepancies that arise. This position is also responsible for including sales tax on appropriate invoices and recording specific taxation of vendors, applying credits as applicable and monitoring all vendor payment agreements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Processes vendor invoices, including GL account coding and matching invoices with purchase orders and entering invoices into financial accounting software Creates and mails checks and sets up electronic payments for invoices and customer refunds Records auto-withdrawals and wire transfers Education & Experience Requirements Associate Degree in related field or equivalent, relevant experience Minimum of 2 years of office experience required Some college level accounting classes desired Compensation and Benefits package include: Competitive wages, annual discretionary bonus. Pay range depending on experience is $24.23 to $ 35.14 hr. This is a non-exempt position. Medical, dental & vision benefits provided (100% employer paid premium for the employee, 75% employer paid premium for the dependents).
