This position plays an important role in supporting our accounting operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, purchase orders, and lien waivers. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices, subcontractor payables, and purchase orders
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders
  • Execute monthly accounts payable check runs
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Match invoices with supporting documentation for approval
  • Prepare and track lien waivers
  • Maintain vendor and subcontractor records
  • Assist with construction accounting and job cost processes
Administrative Support:
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide professional front office support
  • Maintain accounting and subcontractor files
  • Assist with general administrative duties
  • Support the Owner and accounting team with special projects
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables)
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software Construction industry experience:
  • Knowledge of subcontractor documentation and lien waivers
  • Experience with job costing and construction accounting
