This is a hands-on role where the candidate will work closely with the Local's dues office and comptroller assisting with membership services, bookkeeping, and nonprofit accounting activities.

Dues payments/reconciliation Answering phones Data entry Walk-in membership services Bookkeeping

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred experience in Finance or Accounting High School diploma or equivalent Office administration/bookkeeping/nonprofit/labor organization administration or equivalent experience preferred Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and integrity
