Job Description

Our firm is looking for a full-time bookkeeper to support the accounting services segment of our business. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator, performance-driven, a high achiever who works well independently as well as with a team and conducts themselves professionally. They will be someone who has a high attention for detail, is motivated to learn, and can perform under pressure. This role requires precision and the ability to meet deadlines.
Technical duties include:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions of all kinds
  • Enter data, maintain financial records, and create reports
  • Timely and accurately process and review multiple payrolls
  • Timely and accurately process and review quarterly reporting for multiple entities
  • Timely and accurately process and review annual reporting for multiple entities
  • Timely and accurately process and review monthly account reconciliations for multiple entities
  • Conduct research of regulatory information
  • Work directly with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients
  • Utilize multiple software packages for internal processes and client work
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and software, including MS Office and QuickBooks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work onsite
  • At least three years of experience of related experience
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
  • High level of adaptability, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Capable of identifying errors and mistakes and able to comfortably communicate them to the team Our ideal candidate has three or more years of experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
