The incumbent will be responsible for the accounts receivables and collection activities of the company and will assist with accounts payables and payroll.

Responsibilities include:

Own full collection cycle - payments, bank receipts, check deposits Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers regarding inquiries and documentation requests Conducting account research and analysis; making recommendations regarding credits or adjustments to accounts includes chargebacks Make daily collection calls, mailing out notices Dig into account discrepancies Preparing and maintaining accurate aging reports Reconciling accounts receivables to the general ledger Manage brokerage payables end-to-end - entry, reconciliation and approvals paying close attention to detail Step in as backup for accounts payable, keeping the broader finance team agile and uninterrupted Be willing to challenge yourself with other accounting projects as they arise

Qualifications:

College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required Minimum of 3 years A/R experience Knowledge of GAAP and working knowledge of accounts receivable practices Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills Detail oriented and strong multi-tasking skills Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains, Outlook, CRM and Sharepoint is a plus Regal Logistics offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
